Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students near Tucson, AZ for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role is perfect for speech-language pathologists passionate about fostering student growth and communication skills. You'll work 20 hours per week, collaborating with school staff and providing essential services that create lasting impacts on students' educational journeys.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or strong school-based SLP experience considered Previous experience working with middle or high school populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle and high school students based on IEP goals Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records Advocate for students' needs to help maximize their academic success Offer consultations and provide resources to teachers and families as needed Make a significant difference while enjoying the balance of a part-time schedule.
