Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to support students across early childhood through high school in a dynamic school setting. Located in Chula Vista, CA, this contract position offers a chance to work with diverse age groups spanning from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Key qualifications include:
Active state SLPA License Experience in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff effectively Responsibilities include: Assisting Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech and communication challenges Implementing individualized treatment plans Documenting student progress and participating in team meetings to support student development Collaborating with educators and families to maximize therapy outcomes Job specifics: Contract role starting ASAP through the end of the current school year, with a strong possibility of renewal 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade Benefits include: Competitive compensation with weekly pay Comprehensive insurance package covering medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Matching 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts Access to ProCare benefits and resources This position provides a rewarding way to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
