Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' communication growth in a dynamic educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. As a contracted, full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll play a vital part in helping children achieve their speech and language goals while working across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or certification meeting state requirements Experience working with students in a school setting strongly preferred Familiarity with speech/language therapy techniques and documentation Positive, adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills Ability to travel between school locations as part of an itinerant caseload Collaborative team approach with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff Professional and clear communication abilities with students, families, and staff
Daily Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language interventions as directed by supervising SLP Support the implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct screenings and collect data to monitor student progress Prepare and organize materials needed for therapy sessions Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and parent conferences as required Maintain accurate records and progress notes for assigned students Adapt to changing schedules and assignments across multiple campuses
