Cupertino, CA Job Details Part-time $25 - $27 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities English Experience working with children Associate's degree Teaching Full Job Description Bright Stars Pediatric Speech Therapy, Inc. in the Cupertino/San Jose area is hiring for part-time, afternoon assistants to help our licensed speech-language pathologists during Monday and/or Wednesday late afternoons for our small group sessions. These are super fun kids ages 5-11 years old! The aides help redirect children who are off-task, model skills we are teaching, take notes, prepare and put away materials, etc. We will train you if you have the right skill set. In addition, you would help straighten up the waiting room and clean the oral-motor tools used in speech therapy. Must have excellent English, both verbal and written. •

Mondays 4-6pm shift.(small group boys ages 9-11) Wednesdays 4-6pm (small group boys ages 5-6) Do you have experience (not just interest, but actual experience) working with children who have autism or special needs? A paraprofessional working in the schools would be a great candidate for this position. An ABA or RBT background and managing behaviors of children with autism is especially helpful! Perfect for students in Speech Pathology or Special Education programs, or someone with an Associates or Bachelors' degree in a related field, or a SLPA.
