Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) role supports students across two elementary schools and one middle school in Cupertino, CA. The position involves providing direct assistance in speech-language services to help students improve communication skills and succeed academically and socially. The schedule includes three days per week at one elementary school and one day per week each at the other elementary and middle schools, with daily hours generally from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the speech-language pathologist in delivering therapy services to students with communication challenges Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with educators and support staff to reinforce therapy goals Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and goalsPreferred Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working in school environments as an SLPA, especially with elementary and middle school students Ability to work in-person full time with a consistent schedule Strong interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with school-based speech-language therapy processes and documentationLocation:
Cupertino, California (serving multiple school sites within the district)Contract Details:
