Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting school-age students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant providing essential speech and language services. This is a contract opportunity working onsite in a school-based setting, collaborating closely with experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who will offer direct supervision and mentorship. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or closely related field, or AAS degree from a recognized SLPA program Active SLPA license or certification required Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially during high-stress or crisis moments with students, staff, and parents Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed Ability to provide both direct and indirect services as outlined in students' IEPs Strong organizational skills for managing caseload responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to students onsite—virtual work is not an option for this assignment Work under the supervision and guidance of licensed SLPs, ensuring high-quality interventions Maintain documentation in accordance with school, state, or federal guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Participate actively in professional development opportunities provided
