Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Hat Creek, CA. This role involves providing support to the virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) by assisting with caseload management and delivering speech therapy services. The position is open to part-time candidates as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the virtual SLP with speech therapy sessions for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Support students' communication skills development using evidence-based strategies. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the SLP to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Help prepare materials and resources for virtual and in-person therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred. Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment alongside the SLP. Strong communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work full-time with openness to part-time arrangements.
