Psychological Assistant- Trauma Therapist Contractor w/ Flexible Schedule (Post Doc)

Trauma Therapy CA is looking for an experienced psychological assistant ( PsyD or PhD ) to join our team. Preferred candidates will already have a psychological assistant number and be able to see clients. This is a contractor position with flexible working hours, with a commitment of 5-10 clinical hours per week . We are only considering candidates who will be able to work in the office. Trauma Therapy CA is a growing private practice with a focus on individualized evidence-based practices. We are looking for a psychological assistant who will uphold our established reputation in the community and someone with experience treating the complexities of trauma. Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients to heal in the wake of trauma, is able to work independently and is team-oriented. We are invested in providing intentional individualized treatment focused on client progress. We are equally invested in our wonderful team. Although we have different backgrounds in clinical experience and training, we all have a flexible grounding in evidence-based therapy, so we can support each other clinically. As a team, we are invested in living by the values that underlie our treatments. As we wish to have diversity in our areas of expertise, someone with a background in Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, DBT, ACT, CPP, PCIT, CBT, or other similar evidence-based therapies, is desirable. Our staff includes clinicians who are foundationally trained in DBT through B-tech as well as EMDR trained with some working toward certification. We see a wide-range of clients across all age groups, and are open to clinicians who may have specific experience working only with limited age groups. The preferred candidate will also have experience teaching skills-based classes, providing group therapy, and conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations. Our model allows for you to benefit from a stream of referrals facilitated by the center.
