Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Up to $5,000 educational stipend for graduate coursework or degree programs Role Summary Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and related communication disorders. The goal is to help students achieve their highest level of functional performance within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities Assist in the identification, evaluation, and placement of students with speech and language needs Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services aligned with student IEP goals Develop and manage therapy schedules across assigned school sites Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Participate in meetings, including IEP, eligibility, evaluation, FBA/BIP, and staff meetings Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations Assist with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with families and school personnel to support student success Maintain accurate and confidential records Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Knowledge of speech/language development and disorders in school-aged children Familiarity with assistive technology and AAC devices Understanding of state and federal special education regulations Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional growth Compensation $50,000 - $69,000 annually (paid year-round) Educational stipend (up to $5,000) Sign-on bonus eligibility Benefits Competitive salary with year-round pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and sick leave Retirement plan options Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) & Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) Continuing education and career development support Life insurance and short-/long-term disability coverage Housing, transportation, and per diem stipends (where applicable) Relocation assistance Additional voluntary benefits If you're passionate about helping students thrive and want to grow your career in a supportive school environment, we'd love to connect with you.Similar remote jobs
