PRN Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Chatterbox Speech Pathology, Inc Los Alamitos, CA Job Details Part-time $28 - $35 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications SLPA License Outpatient Evidence-based practice Bachelor's degree Working with children with disabilities Full Job Description Chatterbox is an SLP-owned and family centered private practice providing speech and occupational therapy for children of all ages. We support children and their families by emphasizing the whole child as we address individual needs in the areas of articulation, phonology, language, fluency, autism, and pragmatics in a neuro-affirming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a PRN licensed speech-language pathology assistant to work in one or all of our 3 clinics providing speech therapy on an as needed basis. We would love for you to join our team of professional, dynamic, supportive, and passionate speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants in providing dynamic therapy as we partner with our families in meeting the individual needs of each client!
Qualifications:
-Current SLPA license in the State of California -Experience working with children of all ages and with a variety of communication disorders Responsibilities Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in implementing speech therapy programs for children, focusing on individual needs and goals. Document progress in accordance with medical requirements. Provide support in outpatient setting, ensuring effective communication with children and families. Utilize knowledge of evidenced based practice strategies to enhance therapy sessions.
