Full Job Description Summary of Position:
Devoted Education Solutions LLC (DES) is seeking a highly motivated and passionate part-time licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to work at a K-5 Charter School in Pacoima, CA.This school serves a high population of Spanish-speaking students, and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services that help students access and fully participate in their educational program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of services
  • Support the development and monitoring of IEP goals for assigned students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising SLP or program team
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field OR completion of an accredited SLPA program
  • Active California SLPA license (required)
  • Ability to pass DOJ background check
  • Current TB clearance
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred (eligible for stipend)
Pay:
$42.00 per hour
