Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Begin an engaging school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the Marysville area for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
Active registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and implement therapist-designed intervention plans Organizational skills to manage schedules, document progress, and maintain confidentiality standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists Provide direct interventions to students in both individual and small group settings Assist with screening, assessment, and data collection as directed Prepare and organize therapy materials and documentation Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to facilitate holistic student support Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with team members and supervisors
Position Details:
Contract runs from August 11, 2026, to June 4, 2027 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute daily unpaid lunch break Onsite position serving elementary and/or secondary students (caseload details to follow) Opportunity to build clinical experience and foster meaningful connections within a school community Step into a rewarding setting where your SLPA skills shape brighter futures.
