Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting new opportunities await Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) looking for a rewarding contract role during the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers a full-time onsite schedule, supporting students in an educational setting near Marysville, CA. You'll play a vital part in fostering communication skills among students, making a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or certification required Prior experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred Strong understanding of speech and language development in children Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Dedication to collaboration with supervising speech-language pathologists, educators, and other school staff Ability to adapt to different caseloads and student needs as directed
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct treatment and support services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals Prepare educational materials and track student progress and session notes Support communication initiatives within the classroom and across school environments Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with district requirements Participate in staff meetings and professional development as directed
Role Details:
Contract term: August 11th, 2026 - June 4th, 2027
Schedule:
37.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily
