Job Description

Sure Talks A Lot is a clinician-owned pediatric speech therapy company providing family-centered Early Intervention services to children ages 0-3 throughout the East Bay. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who enjoys working with toddlers and their families and is interested in growing with a supportive and clinician-friendly team. We value parent coaching and family-centered services and are looking for clinicians who enjoy building meaningful relationships with families. Services are primarily provided in Oakland and surrounding East Bay communities. Additional referrals in neighboring cities may become available based on clinician availability.
Position Details:
In-home and daycare-based services Areas include Oakland and surrounding communities Caseload builds based on referrals Flexible scheduling with support from admin
Scheduling & Caseload:
Each session is 1 hour per client Most clients are seen 1x per week Caseloads are built based on clinician availability and company referrals.
Responsibilities:
Travel between clients within your assigned service area. Provide play-based speech therapy services in children's homes and community settings. Collaborate with families and caregivers to support communication development. Complete session documentation in a timely manner. Participate in ongoing supervision and support from licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Qualifications:
Active California SLPA License. Reliable transportation and current auto insurance. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience working with young children is preferred but not required. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits:

$60.00 - $65.00 per hour

This position starts part-time with a caseload that builds over time (10-25 hours/week). Each client is typically seen for 1-hour sessions once per week. Are you comfortable with this structure?
