Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school-based role where you'll foster student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Directly support students with communication and language needs by delivering high-quality services under the guidance and mentorship of licensed professionals.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline, or an AAS from an accredited SLPA program. Active, valid SLPA license or certification. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal, including the capacity to collaborate with staff, students, and families, even in challenging situations. Willingness to travel between school sites during the school day as needed. Experience providing direct and indirect services according to IEPs is a plus.Your core responsibilities will involve:
Delivering onsite speech and language interventions to students in accordance with their IEPs. Collaborating with licensed SLPs for ongoing supervision and support. Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records. Supporting the team across various school buildings as needed during your contract.
