Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) working in a supportive and collaborative school setting from August through December. This contract position offers the opportunity to actively contribute to student success and professional growth every day.

Key Qualifications:

Valid SLPA license required Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school environment is highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and caregivers Dedication to fostering student communication and learning

Responsibilities:

Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students Provide direct and indirect speech and language services in classroom and individual settings Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records Support students with diverse learning needs in developing their communication skills Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with a team of educators to meet student goals Adapt to evolving needs within the school and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere Enjoy a rewarding, full-time contract through the fall semester, with the chance to make meaningful connections and impact the community.
