Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity involves providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services at a K-8 special education school in Redding, CA. The position is a contract role focused on supporting students with behavioral needs through tailored speech and language interventions. The role requires approximately 25 hours per week, beginning in August 2026 and continuing through June 2027, at a single location.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students placed in the behavioral support program. Collaborate with special education staff and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Assess and monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school-based experience. Experience working with children in special education settings, particularly those with behavioral challenges. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations concerning special education services.
Location:
Redding, California Single K-8 school location.
