Speech Pathology - Redwood City, CA ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Redwood City, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $45.53 - $72.53 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful difference in the lives of high school and post-secondary students. This contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week in a supportive school setting located near Redwood City, CA. Collaborate closely with a dedicated team—share your caseload with seven other experienced SLPs, fostering growth and teamwork while providing essential communication support to students during a pivotal time in their academic journey.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (California state certification required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred Previous experience working in high school or post-secondary settings is ideal Ability to work collaboratively within a shared caseload model Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Passion for empowering students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and progress documentation Work closely with fellow SLPs, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Lead and participate in team meetings and case conferences Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to each student's requirements Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
