W-2, Full-Time About the Role Inclusive Learning Partners is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position in Riverside, CA . The SLPA will support and enhance speech and language services under the guidance and supervision of a district Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position works directly with students to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control, vocalization, and functional communication, including the use of assistive technology when appropriate. The ideal candidate is collaborative, dependable, student-focused, and experienced working with students with a variety of disabilities. Required Qualifications Associate degree and/or completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program; OR Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related qualifying field with at least 70 hours of fieldwork/clinical experience from a Board-approved program Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) with the California Department of Consumer Affairs Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, teachers, special education staff, and other school-site professionals Must be willing to undergo criminal background clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and FBI TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable Willingness to complete all necessary ILP and state-mandated trainings during onboarding

Supervision:

A district SLP will provide required supervision. Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision and direction of a licensed SLP Implement speech and language activities and interventions developed by the supervising SLP Work with students individually and in small groups to address identified communication needs Support the development of pre-language, receptive and expressive language, articulation, vocalization, and functional communication skills Assist students in developing oral-motor control as directed by the supervising SLP Support students in using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and other assistive technology when appropriate Utilize therapy materials, activities, and strategies appropriate to students' individual needs IEP & Progress Support Implement speech and language goals identified in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the direction of the supervising SLP Collect and record accurate data during therapy sessions Monitor student performance and communicate progress, concerns, and observations to the supervising SLP Maintain accurate service logs, therapy notes, and other required documentation Assist with preparation and organization of therapy materials as permitted within the SLPA scope of practice Student Support & Collaboration Build positive and supportive relationships with students Use appropriate strategies and reinforcement to encourage student participation and progress Work collaboratively with the supervising SLP, teachers, instructional aides, therapists, and other school personnel Adapt activities based on student needs and direction from the supervising SLP Maintain professional and confidential communication regarding students and services Professionalism & Compliance Practice within the California SLPA scope of practice and under appropriate SLP supervision Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided Follow all district, ILP, state, and federal policies and procedures Maintain student confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements Complete required trainings and professional development Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and a student-centered approach Employee Perks and Benefits Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Time, PTO & Holiday Pay CEU Reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Referral bonuses Supportive and responsive team (Benefits eligibility may vary depending on employment status) Why Work with Inclusive Learning Partners?
