Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to a diverse population, including children and adolescents. Duties Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients across various settings such as schools, clinics, or acute care facilities Conduct speech therapy exercises and activities with children and students to promote language development, articulation, voice, and fluency skills Support early intervention programs by working closely with young children to address developmental delays and facilitate communication growth Prepare therapy materials, assist with data collection, and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and IFSP Monitor patients during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and engagement throughout each activity Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and relevant procedures to effectively support clinical staff Skills Strong experience working with children and students in educational or clinical environments Knowledge of pediatrics, speech therapy techniques, and early intervention strategies Familiarity with acute care settings and school-based programs is highly desirable Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a positive attitude and motivating patients Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, patients, and families Demonstrated commitment to professional growth within the field of speech-language pathology Join us in making a lasting impact by helping individuals find their voice!
