Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Sacramento, CA Soliant - 3.9 Sacramento, CA Job Details Contract $28.68 - $48.68 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a vibrant school environment near Sacramento, CA. You'll play a key role in helping approximately 35 students receive the Language and Speech services they need to thrive academically and socially. Working closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll deliver targeted interventions, collaborate with classroom teachers, and maintain precise documentation, all in a setting focused on student growth and development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLPA license or certification recognized by the state of California Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong understanding of speech and language development in elementary-aged students Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary teamYour Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups based on their individualized goals Collect accurate student data, maintaining detailed progress notes and service documentation Collaborate closely with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist regarding student progress and ongoing needs Work with teachers and staff to support students' carryover of skills within the classroom setting Adapt materials and activities to meet specific student needs as directed by the supervising SLP This is a contract position offering valuable professional experience in a supportive educational community.
