School Speech & Language Pathology Assistant | San Bernardino, California San Bernardino, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $35.68 - $53.68 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support services within a school setting in San Bernardino, CA. This role offers both full-time and part-time contract positions, ideal for individuals with a passion for helping children develop their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments and evaluations Support the implementation, monitoring, and revision of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports and related records
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous school-based experience as an SLPA is highly desirable Knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and educational regulations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain documentation standards Ability to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
