Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an impact on students' lives by supporting communication development in a school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license/certification (state requirements apply) Previous experience in school settings or pediatric caseloads preferred Strong understanding of speech and language development techniques Ability to follow treatment plans designed by a certified SLP Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language intervention to students under SLP supervision Assist with assessments and documentation of progress Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and support SLPs in creating therapy materials Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate data tracking and reporting as required Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for all students This position is conveniently located near San Mateo, allowing for a vibrant work-life balance in a supportive educational community.
