This contract role focuses on providing essential support at the elementary level, specifically with students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 60 students with a range of needs—from general education speech support to more moderate or severe disabilities. Your day-to-day will include direct speech therapy services, participation in IEP meetings, and conducting thorough assessments and evaluations. All your work will be carried out at a supportive and collaborative elementary school site within a district serving around 3,650 students.

Qualifications:

Active SLPA license required (SLPA credential mandatory; CTC credential preferred but not required) Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued Strong understanding of a broad spectrum of speech and language disabilities Ability to provide direct services, complete IEP documentation, and perform assessments/evaluations Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
