Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant supporting a PreK-12 caseload in a vibrant school community near Hugo, CO. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children achieve their communication goals and thrive in the classroom. Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Eligible for SLPA certification Experience working with students in a school setting (PreK-12 preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings Comfortable providing therapy under the supervision of a licensed
Speech Language Pathologist Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to PreK-12 students in accordance with IEP goals Assist in conducting assessments and monitoring student progress Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate records of student sessions and progress Engage with educators, families, and supervisors to support student development This role offers the advantage of hourly compensation between $38 and $42, reflecting your valuable expertise.
