Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication and language development in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple full-time opportunities are available for skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistants eager to make an impact across elementary and middle school settings. As part of this role, you'll enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with onsite supervision and guaranteed hours. You'll play a key part in helping students achieve their speech and language goals while building strong relationships with staff, families, and your supervising clinician.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Active SLPA license or certification, meeting state and national requirements Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with children in elementary and/or middle school Familiarity with current best practices in speech-language intervention Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently while responding to supervision and feedback
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist Provide individual and small group interventions to students with speech or language needs Collect and record accurate progress data on student performance Assist with screenings and assessments as directed Communicate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards
