Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an opportunity to provide support services within a school setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) located in Bridgeport, CT. The role involves assisting with speech and language therapy plans to help students improve their communication skills under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Responsibilities:
Support and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs Assist in preparing and organizing therapy materials and activities Monitor and document student progress and report findings Collaborate with speech therapists, educators, and other staff members Follow established guidelines and confidentiality protocols in a school environment
