Job Description

Job description CCSN Behavioral Health is excited to announce that we are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support our clinics based in Glastonbury and Farmington, CT. We are seeking both per diem and full-time candidates. CCSN is a multidisciplinary behavioral health clinic, supporting individuals with Autism and complex neurodevelopmental disorders across the lifespan.
Primary responsibilities include:
Implementing individualized plan of care as appropriate to meet the needs of the child and young adult/caregiver as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist (SLP) Assisting the SLP in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans Providing direct therapy services in an individual and group setting Implementing data collection procedures to track client progress Utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices Ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team on developing, implementing, and revising the treatment plan of care The successful candidate will possess: A bachelor's degree in communication disorders or related field
Preferred:
ASHA speech-language pathology assistant certification (C-SLPA)

AAC experience Experience implementing evidence-based treatment to individuals with ASD Experience in leading evidence-based social skills groups Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Desire to work as part of a larger team interdisciplinary team of psychologists, occupational therapists, BCBAs, and speech pathologist This position also includes: Weekly participation in individual and group supervision Participation in center-based professional development Opportunities for growth and development of clinical skills Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians throughout the organization. The successful candidate will develop a schedule that aligns with the clinic's patient needs and the candidate's personal availability. Hour available span CCSN's full weekly calendar: M-F from 8:00 - 6:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00 - 2:30pm. Full-time roles are 40 hours per week, and per diem opportunities can be designed to meet the needs of the candidate and CCSN. About The Center for Children with
