Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an extended school year (ESY) program. This rewarding contract position offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and help children build critical communication skills in a dynamic school-based environment. The program runs from June 29th through July 23rd, with a staff set-up day included, providing you with dedicated time to get organized and acclimated before students arrive.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students per their individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic support Document sessions and communicate student outcomes with key stakeholders Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
