Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

• This is a mobile therapy position. We have patients in North Miami Beach, Aventura, Hallendale to be seen.
• Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve their speech and language skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, stherapists and educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of therapy
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills at home ```Requirements```
• Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to speech and language disorders
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
• Ability to work in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, schools, and rehabilitation centers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Transportation and auto insurance
