Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services to pediatric patients. This role involves implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and supporting children in achieving their communication goals. Responsibilities Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP Provide direct therapy services to children (ages 0-18) Document therapy sessions accurately and in a timely manner Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising SLP Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to individual needs Educate and communicate effectively with parents/caregivers Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company guidelines Participate in team meetings and ongoing training as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field Active SLPA license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain) Previous pediatric experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
