Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting pediatric clients as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting. Work with children and adolescents (ages 2 to 18) presenting with mild to moderate needs, focusing on developing skills in pragmatics, expressive and receptive language, reading, writing, articulation, and high-functioning autism. Enjoy the consistency of a structured caseload—seeing one child per hour with a dedicated lunch break—fostering a manageable and lower-stress environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Florida SLPA license and active Medicaid Provider Number required. Previous experience supporting pediatric populations with communication delays and autism spectrum disorders is highly valued. Strong foundation in administering activities and interventions as directed by supervising SLPs. Comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively with families, children, and multidisciplinary team members. Capable of maintaining accurate records and adhering to therapy documentation standards.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy services within a pediatric outpatient model, treating a variety of mild to moderate disorders. Implement treatment plans crafted by supervising SLP, focusing on each child's unique goals. Provide input regarding therapy progress and assist with ongoing assessment. Maintain organized documentation and participate in team meetings and administrative tasks as required. Therapies offered with consistent, dedicated therapy spaces—no school-based itinerant work or travel between sites. This full-year contract offers a regular Monday-Friday schedule totaling 30 hours per week, with potential flexibility to increase hours if desired. Supportive supervision and training are provided, ensuring confidence and professional growth from day one. The interview process is quick and can be completed in person, via Facetime, or Zoom for your convenience. Shape your next chapter by applying today—dedicated individuals eager to make a positive impact in pediatric therapy are encouraged to submit their application and embark on a fulfilling experience! #p31
