This school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position offers a dynamic schedule in a supportive environment, working across different elementary sites throughout the week. Your week will be thoughtfully split, dedicating two days each to Lake Panasoffkee and Wildwood elementary schools, with a fifth day serving as a floater to provide support where it's most needed. This position fills a full-time, 37.5-hour schedule and runs from as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid SLPA licensure or certification in accordance with state requirements Previous school experience or demonstrated interest in working with children Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication development Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Proficiency in documentation and progress reporting Flexibility to adapt across multiple school environments in a given week

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language pathology services under the supervision of an SLP Implement therapy activities tailored to individual student needs Accurately document student progress and session outcomes Assist in screening and assessment processes as assigned Communicate effectively with educators, caregivers, and support personnel Travel between assigned schools and adapt to evolving caseload needs
