Job Overview I'm looking for a caring and compassionate SLPA to join Heart Speak Therapy in Macclenny, FL! This position will provide pediatric speech therapy in a local school setting, including both individual and small-group therapy. Part-time to start, with the possibility of full-time as we grow Pediatric caseload Individual & small-group therapy Support and supervision from a licensed SLP New graduates are welcome to apply! Duties Provide pediatric speech and language therapy to children in a school setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Provide both individual and small-group therapy based on each child's specific speech and language needs Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social communication Create engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy activities that keep children motivated and involved in their sessions Build positive, supportive relationships with students while encouraging confidence and communication skills Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress Communicate with the supervising SLP regarding student progress, goals, and any concerns Collaborate professionally with school staff and families as appropriate to support each child's communication needs Prepare therapy materials and activities appropriate for individual and group sessions Maintain a professional, compassionate, and encouraging therapy environment Follow all applicable professional, ethical, privacy, and supervision requirements for the practice of speech-language pathology Experience Experience working with children in a school, clinical, therapy, or childcare setting is preferred Experience working with children with speech, language, or communication needs is a plus Familiarity with pediatric speech and language therapy and working with children of different ages and abilities Experience providing individual or small-group activities or instruction is helpful Ability to build positive relationships with children and create an encouraging, engaging therapy environment New graduates and SLPAs who are early in their careers are welcome to apply

Pay:

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 20.0 per week
