Job Description

Support children in finding their voice and building communication skills for life. Breakthrough Therapy, LLC (BTT) is a growing private outpatient pediatric practice in Miami, FL. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy for children with special needs. Our services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy provided in clinic, home, school, daycare, and virtual settings. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is passionate about working with children and families. Work across a variety of pediatric settings including clinic, home, school, and community Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families Support for professional growth and continuing education Flexible scheduling with autonomy in managing your caseload Key Responsibilities Implement speech and language therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Provide services in natural environments such as homes, daycares, and community settings to support functional communication Educate and guide caregivers on strategies to enhance their child's communication skills Manage your caseload, including scheduling and session planning Complete accurate and timely documentation including session notes, progress reports, and billing Maintain professional communication with families and team members Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other providers Follow all ethical, legal, and professional standards Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active Florida SLPA license required CPR certification required Pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations What We Are Looking For Passion for helping children develop communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities A proactive and solution-oriented mindset Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized care Apply Today If you are ready to grow your career while making a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.
