Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students' communication goals as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Two dedicated SLPA professionals are needed to fill full-time contract positions, with assignments potentially anchored at a single school site. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2026. You'll play a vital role in helping students thrive, either by working alongside a virtual SLP to facilitate on-site speech services or by directly managing a traditional caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active FL Department of Health SLPA license required Experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptability and initiative for supporting diverse student populations Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint processing through
Florida's AHCA Clearinghouse Role Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, direct speech services to students as assigned Act as a facilitator for virtual SLP service delivery on-site as needed Implement therapy plans under SLP supervision and monitor student progress Accurately document sessions and maintain student records Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when required Adhere to all policies, confidentiality requirements, and district protocols Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, rewarding your expertise and dedication to student development.
