Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success as a skilled professional in school-based speech services. This role offers meaningful work across multiple campuses, where dedication to student development and communication excellence is highly valued. In this position, you'll be collaborating with educators and staff to provide essential assistance to students. With a strong foundation in Communication Science Disorders, you'll apply your expertise within diverse learning environments. The assignment begins on July 27, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders (required) Demonstrated knowledge of speech and language support practices in educational settings Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Organizational skills with attention to timelines and documentation Proven ability to foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere Commitment to evidence-based interventions and collaborative teamwork
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement speech and language strategies under guidance, supporting student IEP goals Assist in assessments, progress reports, and individualized interventions Maintain accurate documentation of services, sessions, and student outcomes Communicate regularly with educators, staff, and families to support student progress Travel to multiple school locations within the district as needed
