Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract position supporting students across multiple educational facilities near Gainesville, GA. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders who are passionate about empowering young learners and eager to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with other specialists to deliver intervention and support services throughout the academic year—starting July 27, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027. Your work will enhance students' communication skills, supporting their overall growth and academic achievement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders (required) Experience or coursework related to school-based settings strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Valid state licensure for practice as required by local regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with communication challenges in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with licensed SLPs and educational staff to implement therapy plans Track and document student progress and session activities accurately Prepare materials and resources to support speech and language interventions Participate in regular team meetings and professional development as needed
