Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working onsite in a school setting near Kuna, ID. This contract position offers a consistent part-time schedule of 6-12 hours per week from August through the end of the school year, making it ideal for those seeking a rewarding role with flexibility. Preferred Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license required Experience working with school-aged populations Familiarity with educational settings and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist Comfort in adapting to varied student needs and schedules Strong time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students according to established IEPs and therapy plans Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist with documentation, progress tracking, and treatment planning Prepare and organize therapy materials to support student success Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district and professional standards Contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students This position allows you to gain valuable experience in a dynamic educational setting while supporting students at crucial stages of their development.
