Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in a school setting in Mundelein, Illinois, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week for the full 2022-2023 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-8 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience working with K-8 students preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff Benefits of this role include the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills within a supportive educational environment.
