Job Description

50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Lafayette, IN . The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services that support students' communication, language development, and academic success. Responsibilities Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP. Conduct therapy sessions in individual and small-group settings. Document student progress and maintain accurate treatment records. Prepare therapy materials and assist with speech and language screenings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members. Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals. Ensure compliance with school district policies and state regulations. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field. Valid Indiana SLPA license/certification (or eligibility to obtain). Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
