Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting opportunity tailored for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant eager to make a difference in elementary education. This contract role, conveniently based near Whiteland, IN, invites you to collaborate with a dynamic school team in supporting empowering student communication and learning. Your primary focus will involve working closely with an SLP to manage and enrich a shared elementary caseload of approximately 60 students. The assignment spans 1-2 school sites, providing varied experiences while ensuring you make a tangible impact. The position runs from July 27th, 2026, to May 27th, 2027. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or certification Prior experience in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level, is desirable Familiarity with implementing therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families Collaborative mindset with excellent organizational skills Willingness to travel between 1-2 school sites as needed
