Step into an impactful role supporting students across K-12 settings as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. In this contract opportunity, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to help manage and support larger caseloads throughout the district. Key Qualifications:

Active SLPA license in Kansas Experience or clinical practicum in a school-based setting preferred Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with supervising SLPs Excellent organizational abilities to manage scheduling and documentation across multiple sites Initiative and adaptability for providing services in diverse educational environments Reliable transportation to commute between assigned schools as needed

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct communication therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support treatment plans and instructional strategies set forth by the SLP Collect and document therapy data, track student progress, and maintain records accurately Coordinate your own weekly schedule based on student needs and school assignments Communicate effectively with school staff, SLPs, and caregivers Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students In this role, youll experience the autonomy to shape your day-to-day schedule and gain exposure to a variety of school settings and student needs.
