Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Olathe, KS. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking to apply their expertise in communication disorders within an educational environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed Collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policiesQualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred Valid state licensure to practice speech-language pathology in a school setting Experience working in schools or educational settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentLocation:
