Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students within a middle school setting. This role offers a 37.5-hour per week, onsite contract position located in Olathe, KS. The ideal candidate will work closely with school staff to assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs tailored to meet the individual needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services to students. Support therapy sessions designed for middle school students. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to enhance student communication skills. Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Experience working in a school environment, preferably with middle school students.
