A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting located in Topeka, KS. This contract position invites a dedicated professional to contribute to the communication development and success of school-aged children in an engaging educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans. Support students in achieving communication goals through targeted therapy activities. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with educators, parents, and clinicians to enhance student outcomes. Prepare materials and resources that facilitate effective therapy sessions.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLPA certification in accordance with state regulations. Experience working within a school environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of licensed SLPs. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children.
