Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available within a school setting in Dudley, Massachusetts. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students in developing effective communication skills under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Conduct therapy sessions to improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student growth Prepare materials and set up therapy environments
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Current certification or eligibility as an SLPA Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow treatment plans and demonstrate attention to detail Commitment to promoting inclusive and supportive learning environments
