Job Description
Payroll Coordinator Reports To Controller Core Function Key Responsibilities Payroll Execution:
Runs bi-weekly staff payroll and monthly AFC payroll using CheckWriters . This includes labor allocations and ensuring all wage/hour law compliance.Maintains:
Check log, employee data, compensation, deduction updates.Process:
Bi-weekly 403(b) and quarterly pension deposits.Prepares:
Journal entries to be posted to the general ledger.Reconciliation:
Handles fringe benefit monthly, quarterly 941, position control, time off accruals, and other reporting requirements.Year-End Compliance:
Handles high-stakes reporting including W-2s , ACA (Affordable Care Act) filings, and insurance renewals.Data Integrity:
Archives digital payroll reports for audit readiness.Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
At least 3 years of payroll experienceSoftware Stack:
Priority is placed on CheckWriters and Abila MIP , alongside the Excel requirements.Education:
Associate's degree is preferred.Aptitude:
High mathematical accuracy and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee salary data.Similar remote jobs
