20 Position Overview We are actively hiring Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to support students across all grade levels (K-12) in the Fall River area . This is a great opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment while supporting diverse student populations. Compensation & Employment Details $42/hour Temp-to-perm opportunities available School-year contract (36 weeks) 32.5 hours per week Program Placements SLPAs will be placed within specialized programs based on student needs and experience. Openings are available across all grade levels: Key Responsibilities Support implementation of treatment plans developed by supervising SLP Deliver speech and language services in individual and group settings Assist with data collection and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed Interview Process Initial phone screening Client interview required In-person interviews scheduled for July 2026 The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree, or have a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
