Something 2 Talk About, Inc. (S2TA) is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric outpatient therapy team in Lanham, MD . We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and child-focused SLPA who enjoys working with children and is interested in providing quality speech and language intervention in a supportive clinical environment.

Hours:

Approximately 6-10 hours per week

Primarily evenings and weekends

Population:

Pediatric clients, primarily ages 3-10 Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), AAC, articulation/phonological disorders, and language disorders is a plus. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP. Collect and document accurate session data. Complete SOAP notes and required clinical documentation. Maintain an organized and engaging therapy environment. Follow S2TA clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Communicate professionally with supervising SLPs, families, and other members of the therapy team. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable professional and regulatory requirements. Attend required supervision, training, and staff meetings as applicable. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Licensed/eligible to practice as an SLPA in Maryland Reliable and able to commit to consistent evening and/or weekend availability Comfortable working independently while following the supervising SLP's plan of care Patient, energetic, and comfortable working with pediatric clients Organized and timely with documentation A strong communicator and team player Experience with ASD and/or AAC is preferred but not required Why Join S2TA?
